This item is handy. If you use vallejo paints in the 17ml bottles, this rack is for you. The holes are exactly 1 inch in diameter. Construction: Simple slot together with plastic clips. About the only complaint i could have is that I kind of wish the clips weren''t *clear* plastic - if you drop one (or it doesn''t clip and pops off,) it just takes a little longer to find. But that''s my only gripe. Yes, it''s thin MDF - but just how much weight are you planning on putting on this thing?

Usage:

I''ve got a mix of paint brands - Vallejo, Ammo of MiG, Lifecolor, Testors, Tamiya and more. I was wondering what would fit in here - I''ve got enough to make use of any of it, honestly. But if you''re looking and wondering what fits where?

1 inch - which makes up most of the spots in this - fits the little Vallejo and Ammo of Mig (and others) squeeze bottle types. The back row is 1.4 inch, which fits most other brands I''ve seen. Surprisingly, the little square Testors (and Pactra) bottles do not fit in the 1" holes. Though, those are going away for the most part anyway...

1.4 inch - Model Master, Gunze Sangyo Aqueous / Mr. Color, 10ml (smaller) Tamiya, Lifecolor, Testors CreateFX, Micro Marc Microsol/set/mask (loosely - too large for the others.) Mission Models fits loosely, but these have a "floor," so that''s not really a problem.

Larger holes needed: Tamiya 23ml. Mr. Surfacer (though those get near spray can size.) Revell Germany Aqua Color (though those are square, so...)

Some of the others have different arrangements of different hole sizes, so check them out depending on your needs. I''m definitely looking at the 15 and 28 hole versions for my other paints. I think there are other sets of higher price and lesser quality than these. If you want to fit generic 2oz bottles or Wargaming/Citadel stuff, it won''t fit. If you want to fit brushes with larger handles, it won''t fit. If you just want a nice rack to fit you basic Army Painter/Vallejo, or other smaller 15ml-17ml bottles, it will likely suit your needs, as well as your smaller brushes. Brushes should be stored horizontally when stored in most cases anyhow.... So again, do your research. If you want a cheap stand, and you''re not using 2oz paint bottles or Citadel, this will likely work for what you want as it did for me. I got two and I''m very happy with the purchase.
Would up it to 5* if I could fit my medium sized brushes. I sort of wish it had the little pull-out drawers like my other one, but I can''t complain for this price. Also, it holds 60 total - more than the advertised 52. There are 52 holes for the Vallejo / Army Painter standard bottle size, and 8 larger holes for the bigger pot-size paints like GW paints. Not much else to say, but the wood (even though it''s lightweight) looks much better than my other (random brand) rack, which has a balsa wood look. It’s not as well made as I’d hoped, though when requesting this only a very brief description was available through Vine, with no link to a product page, and no sign of pricing information. This arrived flat packed and needed to be slotted together – generally very easy – with the connected panels held in place using little clear plastic clips. I had my drill/driver ready to go, but no tools were required. Parts were easy to identify and diagrammatic instructions clear. The panels are quite thin – only a few mm thick and don’t feel the sturdiest/best quality, but for paints (or my cottons) handled gently, this seems as though it will be fine. The wood effect finish is only applied to the sides of each panel, the ends are bare MDF. The paint pot holes are a really good size for cotton reels – deep enough to hold them without them toppling over, shallow enough that the reels are still easy to access. There are also little drilled holes designed to hold paintbrushes. These work quite well as storage for crochet hooks too. Overall, I’m quite pleased with this little stand, but would want to know the price before I’d be prepared to consider awarding a higher rating. As you can see it holds a lot!. It''s a handy holder for many things in my opinion, i did try paints and brushes in it, paint tubes and tubs were fine but some of my larger brushes wouldn''t fit in the holes designed for them (about the diameter of a slim pencil), My art supplies tend to be on the larger side, and although this shelf is excellent for smaller items, i found i needed slightly larger holes for any brushes wider than, say a 6mm drill bit. I wish i had the ammount of art supplies you would need to fill this up but for now i am still collecting, so in the end i used it for my make-up, (for now) and i have to say it works mostly brilliantly either way!. the whole thing measures 15" (38cm) in length, by 8" (20cm) in depth, the holes measure 1" (a little under 3cm). At its tallest point is 5" (12cm), the gap between shelves is an inch and a half (4cm). The shelf arrived very quickly and well packaged. I hope you find this review helpful.
