It worked great for about a month then one of the USB ports quit working, a few weeks later the second one stopped also. I bought two and the same thing happened to the second one the following month, so it lasted a little bit longer. None of the USB ports work but the power outlet works fine. My first impulse was to rip it out of my end table and stomp the uselessness out of it but I came up with a better idea as you can see in my picture. I plugged my Apple USB Power adapter into it and what do you know, now it works perfect. Nice long cord on the underside means you can reach any outlet or power strip. You need to drill a 2" hole, which is more than enough for the body to fit. Then insert the body of the grommet into the hole, and the collar over the cord on the underside of the desk. Screw the collar onto the grommet body to hold the top to the underside of the desk, then screw in three small screws (I drilled tiny pilot holes because the screws are pretty small/flimsy; depending on how tightly you screw down the collar you may not even need the screws though), and you''re in business.
