See more This Eden Products Bath Pillow is an improvement over resting my head against the hard surface of the tub and tile wall. I had a problem with its buoyancy defeating its suction cup adhesion. It kept floating up. I had to keep pushing it down, and that’s a pain because I have long hair. By the end of my bath, the results were somewhat better, with the pillow staying more or less in place where I wanted it. The way it fits in my tub, the top portion with its three suction cups isn’t going to have a surface for suction adhesion. So it’s just the five suction cups on the bottom part of the pillow that I want to adhere. The cardboard wrapper it comes in says to ensure that the tub and the suction cups are absolutely CLEAN AND DRY. And dried with, ”an unhairy cloth,” which is an economical if inelegant way of saying to keep the suction cups free of hair. The instructions are apparently saying to clean the tub and the suction cups and adhere prior to filling the tub, though they don’t use those exact words. Even though I had a bit of a struggle with the pillow floating up, it was really nice to have the cushioning for my neck and head once I got it positioned. I’m guessing there could be a learning curve on how to use this pillow, and I’ll update this review if my experience with it changes.

The suction cups can be CAREFULLY removed to clean the pillow. The instructions basically say if you don’t remove them carefully, you’ll tear the pillow. This apparently also goes for taking care when dislodging the suction cups after your bath to clean the pillow. Hopefully you won’t have a household member who would impatiently rip it loose from the tub, which might wreck it. The instructions say it can be cleaned by machine, which I suppose might be possible if you cover it in bath towels or otherwise defeat its buoyancy.

I like the feel of the faux leather fabric. There are many other bath pillow options out there, but reviews on the ones with mesh fabric indicate mold is a problem. This pillow is designed to avoid that. For me, the comfort of having the cushioning on my neck and head was positive enough to motivate me to work with the buoyancy vs suction issue. I had gotten out of the habit of bath salts soaking until recently, and the benefits for my aching muscles portend more soaks. I wouldn’t discourage shoppers from ordering this pillow, providing they take the buoyancy vs suction issue into account. For the price it’s nice to have cushioning for the neck and head, even with some floating up. However, this works wonderfully in our master bath Jacuzzi. Since the sides of the tub are smooth and the granite surface of the tub-surround are smooth, this held on perfectly. It worked better after I wet the granite a bit; it gets better suction if there''s a bit of moisture.

As far as comfort is concerned, this is nice and soft, but, it''s plastic. Of course, it needs to be plastic to keep it waterproof, but it would be nice if there was a softer, less "scrunchy" cover on it. I put a towel on top of it and, as long as you don''t mind the wetness, it was a much more pleasant experience than keeping my head on the plastic surface.

The suction cups are arranged nicely and after a good one-hour soak they still required a bit of work to pull them off the surfaces, fortunately, there''s a little tab on the top of each suction cup to help. Minor problem, I’m short and so in tubs I slide and it has me go far before my feet stop me at the end of the tub. So, with this it’s harder to keep myself up because there’s no edge, which isn’t the fault of the product, but I feel this could be slightly remedied by making the pillow a bit longer. I can feel my lower back missing the padding when I slide down, it’d be nice to have that extra cushion.
Other than that, it’s comfortable, and it doesn’t absorb water so it won’t mold. The suction cups do not slide in my experience, but the top ones don’t fully grasp the edge of my tub (since I’ve one of those standard shower tubs)

Overall, very pleased with this product.

It is so much more comfortable to lie your head on this pillow than on the hard, and oftentimes cold, bathtub surface. I have wanted one of these for quite some time, and am very pleased with it. I can lie on my back and/or either side while soaking now and be comfortable. Helpful
